P3 – INS – UNSAM Instituto de Nanosistemas UNSAM Nanoarchitecture

Universidad Nacional de San Martín, UNSAM, is an Argentine Public Federal University. Created in 1992 it has become aprivileged space and a leader in academic training, research, cultural development and social transformation. The INS mission is to developcutting edge projects through interdisciplinary projects with academic and industrial collaboration. Three main lines of research aredeveloped: a) designed nanomaterials synthesis, b) nano-optics and c) nanomedicine.

The project will be integrated in PôleBalard Formation Recherche which gathers all the chemistry institutes of Montpellier (forresearch and teaching). The applicant will work at the institute of materials ICGM (400 persons) which is part of CNRS. Major focuses in theinstitute include the development of new materials and new functionalities, and the reparation of nanomaterials in mild conditions.
